So, I doodled this, then had fun, then decided to finish it. Y know, while I was supposed to be doing something more productive. It’s only this year that I’ve really understood the black and white, screwball romantic comedy. There is something so lush about those films, and how amazing are the old STARS? There was a reason we used to call them stars. I know Cary Grant married five times, was rumored to be gay, AND got in trouble for spanking his wives, but you watch  Arsenic and Old Lace and you tell me he’s not perfect.  So, all that musta been in my mind when I drew this.

Catch the sexual subtext? Subtle, for me, actually. and, while Black and White is thematically correct, here it is through a red lens.

Although in truth, I really did it in color. Crazy 60’s warms, to be exact.

It is hard not to futz with the all colors, all the time, forever. I’m kinda amazed I ever get anything done, and choose one way. This time, I didnt. Pick your favorite!
